Default Removing front axels with c clips

Ok I bought a jeep and I believe there are c clips on the front axels, any help on removing these so I can pull the axels out to replace the ball joints? Can't find a write up on it

No c clips just take wheel rotor and all that off remove the 3 bolts on the hub assembly and the shafts slide right out takes like 15 mins a side.

I've never heard of a D44 C-clip axle, but if it has c-clips, then you have to remove the cross pin from the differential carrier, and PUSH the axle in. One side at a time, then fish the C-clip out with pliers. There will be one on the end of each axle shaft. The C-clip slips into a groove at the end of the axle shaft and then you pull the axle shaft out. This locks the C-clip in place in the inner diameter of the side gear in the diff. Once you install the cross pin, the axle shaft cannot come back inward and release the C-clip.

Me either.

Are you referring to the C clips that hold the U joints in place maybe ???

"G2 now offers an even stronger option for the Jeep JK. The new Placer Gold axles feature the larger yoke that accepts the 1350 style u-joint found in Rubicon models. Forged from 4340 Chromoly, these axles are heat treated to handle the additional loads without failure. Front axle kits come fully assembled with Dana Spicer U-joints, and full circle clips."

He says it isn't a 44, it's a 30. That could be why we've not heard of the 44 with C clips.
