Default Removing the Jeep emblem

Not To sure if this is the right place for this. I want to remove my Jeep emblem in the front of the jeep, but wow are those ever stuck on there. Any suggestions on how to remove them?

Thanks!

Use fishing line to cut through the adhesive. Then pull adhesive off by pulling up or down with the vehicle. 3m tape will come off by heating and rolling but we have found it better to heat slightly and pull down on it. Should take maybe 15 min at most.

I used dental floss and a heat gun. It took longer to get the stuff then to remove the letters.

Do not use fishing line, it produces more heat from the friction and will mar the clear coat. Use dental floss!

Warm day will make it easier. I did mine after it set out in the sun--was able to just pry the letters off with a screwdriver protected by a rag. Cleaned up residue with lacquer thinner. That was years ago, but I like it a lot better ...

I need to remove mine. The guy who just painted my Jeep screwed it up.

That looks like they made a real mess of the emblem. Probably re-glued it on as opposed to a new one.

Fishing line and a blow dryer or heat gun!
works like a charm.
