Default Removing silicone off the jeep

I ran a few searches and searches google, but everything talked about removing bath and tub caulking.

I sealed my PS tramp stamp on to my tailgate with silicone around the outside edge. Now I am going to the teraflex HD tire carrier and need to pull the tramp stamp off, but am unsure on how to remove the silicone bead.

Any tips?

usually you can just pull it off and then hit the residue with some goo be gone or similar. If all else fails careful work with a razor blade should do the trick.

Didn't even think about goo gone! I've got plenty of that stuff. Thanks

don't use a razor blade - take an old credit card or similar plastic to use a scraper, just take your time not to scratch the paint

Like stated above, use a credit card or plastic putty knife to break the seal and than remove excess with goo gone.
