Default Replace or cover up door hinges?

As we all know our JK has paint on our door hinges that peel. What should I do and what would be best? Replace or get hinge covers?

I did notice that they are screws that come with a hinge kit and covers.

I have Rugged Ridge hinge covers. I like the more bulky look they add since they're placed on top of hinge.

Take it to a dealer and try and get them to warranty and fix them. That's what I did

I am still waiting for delivery of my 2013 commando green JKUR, but am interested in blacking the hinges. Its a super cool look. I also noticed that on one of your album pics that you blacked out your grill. That's killer dude!! Was that bed liner as well? Did you take the old paint off on the hinges, or will the coating of bed liner keep the paint from peeling? I appreciate any advice you can give.

Cheers!

I painted mine black if I were to do it over I would of took the ones that were chipped bad off and stripped them. But to be honest I'm the only one who will ever know unless you look close.

I had to redo mine- haha. I took the wire wheel to them and turned out a little better. I need to touch up the torx however.

OP- just DIY. Save some money- get some paint in your lungs.
