So I've been saving up some $$ lately and I'm getting ready to do a big mod. My first plan is to replace my D30 up front with a D44.

Can you guys give me a round about idea of what I'm getting into?

Prices, what all ill need, links to places I can by the setup? Anything and everything is appreciated.

I haven't thought it all out yet - I'm hoping to get good stuff from you guys Id like to do it at a decent price but of course I want it done right.

 

I just picked up a rubi 44 housing for $100

 

Oh snap. What else do you need to make it operational?

 

Locker gears shafts and probably an install kit

Well if anyone has more info share it. I'd like to hear from anyone who has a PR44 I'm leaning there.

Anyone have a PR44 with some advice? Or at least anyone replace their front axle with some advice?
