Default RCV Shafts

The RCV shafts have a little hole in the end of the outer shaft so you put a little needle grease fitting on the end of the grease gun and it greases the knuckle. I put these shafts in with my new pr44; yesterday we had our first significant snow fall and was the first time I got to try them out. I now understand what they say about them being smooth compared to a standard u-joint. There is no hopping like the front tires normally do when you’re spinning in deep snow. So far I like them a lot, as far as something else becoming the week link since you have a 44 your ring and pinion is bigger than 44’s of years past. A while back one of the companies was running a post where they were looking for anyone that actually did rip out the ring or pinion while running RCV shafts. They said they were only able to verify one person. I had it bookmarked but my computer had to be reformatted and lost all my bookmarks.
Plus the orange boots look cool!!
