Replacing shocks...
My rear shocks are leaking and need to be replaced. I am going with Old Man Emu as I understand they offer one of the best rides. Is it ok to just replace the rears as my front are still fine or do I need to replace all 4 at the same time?
You can replace just the rears or fronts without issue assuming you get the length right. Think of it sort of like tires, you want to keep the same size and type of shock (exact same shock when possible) on the same axle, and you want all four to be the same when you can afford it, but haveing different shocks front to rear isnt a bad thing as long as the shocks are the same on any one axle.
you can do just the rears, any friggin size you want!!!!!!!!!!! diffrent travel, front to rear wont matter in the least!!!!!!!!!i dont know why people post crap like that and they have no clue what they are talking about..just to confuse people i guess!!!!!!!!!

I post that because most people don't have a clue how to choose appropriate length for suspension travel and valving for conditions. For 99% of people having the same good quality shock at all corners is the best option. So before you open your trap about who knows what you might want to consider that we were trying to help the guy with a quality and easy solution that wont have him screaming for more help and wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars. Next time before you make yourself look like an ass try thinking of helping those with maybe a little less experience then you before you open your trap.
