I just replaced my factory SS with a Teraflex Heavy duty... basic replacement over stock... My factory one was on this way so I just bolted my new one the same way... Then my buddy stopes over in his same year JK 2010 - I happened to look under his and it was the opposite way from mine... Can someone tell me if mine is correct or does it need to be flipped?

I just replaced my stock SS a few days ago, but maybe my memory is fuzzy, I think his is backwards.

Regardless, I can't imagine it would make a difference.

The dealer just replace mine a couple of days ago under warranty and it's mounted the same way yours is.

That's what I was wondering; can they be mounted either way... Seems odd my was this way from factory and my buddies is mounted the other way from dealer... Is one way better then the other?

Just went to the JK write up section... Should have done sooner - the write up shows the install with the body side of the SS bolted to the track bar and the other close to axle side - WTH..

Do I take it off and spin it... Or just leave like my picture shows?

Check the tsb on the steering stabilizer. It mentions something about which way it is mounted, making it more susceptible to rock and pebble damage with it mounted one way versus another. Don't remember which way is recommended.

I'm sure you meant the tie rod.
