Im pulling all four stock wheels off the JK as they are being sold tonight.

New wheels tire arrive tomorrow.

What is the best place to place the four jack stands?

Obviously the frame is best but with the skids it doesn't seem the most secure....i can place the stands on each side of my axles over night?

Both sides of the axles on the tubes is perfectly fine, and an ideal place. Couple inches out from your differential housing.

How about the recommended jack points? The axles.

Just double checking. Better safe than sorry.

I recently did this with my wife's 2011 Sport. Put the jack stands just inside the lower control arms. Left it overnight without any problems whatsoever.

I just hope you actually do get the wheels and there isn't anything wrong with them, that would suck!

I've been working on my lift for 2 weeks now and I've had mine up on stands that long. I had to put them under the frame as I have to lower the axles to change the springs and shocks. The only problem I ran into was lifting it high enough. I used a 12" piece of 4x4 horizontally on my floor jack then under the middle of the frame to get it high enough. The suspension will fully droop so for changing the tires this may not be the best option as you have to lift the jeep pretty high to get the tires off the ground. And if ur lifted you'll have to go even higher. I'm wondering how I'm gonna get my new tires on with the lift. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to jack up the axles.

Best option is to bolt the stock wheels on the front or rear the opposite of what you are going to bolt the new on first. Just in case it slides of the jack stands. then jack it up by your pumpkin then bolt on new on pull the jack stands out. Then do the others.

I've been putting them under my axles closer to the wheels and so far so good. I just wish the front differential was in the center of the axle so I didn't have to do each side one at a time.

That's a good idea. Yeah I've been working under it pretty regularly now but its still unnerving with it sitting in the stands. I'm constantly double checking them and using a jack for additional support where needed.
