That's the right attitude for JK engine mods. There are plenty of threads talking about all of the various bolt-ons, be sure to do a little searching and reading before you pull out the credit card.
And when you are looking at the numbers, pay attention to the fine print! 20 or 30 or 40 HP in big bold letters - but many people miss the 'at 5,000+ rpm' tucked way over on the side, and then they realize that they just spent a grand for 6 or 8 or 10 'usable' HP. The HP that is down in the rpm range most of us run in, not up at redline.
You could also check a few threads on the Sprintex superchargers (in the $2500 range) and Ripp long tube headers (in the $1600 range).
And when it is time to start looking at hemi swaps, be sure to check out the LS swaps as well.
