Default Rhino Line

Thinking about ripping my carpet out in a few days and rhino lining instead. Has anyone ever used the do it yourself stuff. If so post some pics....how'd it turn out?

I think most guys are using the DIY kits from Upol Raptor liner. Looks to be stout stuff. I think you can buy everything for under $200. If you google raptor liner jeep jk there are several threads that pop up. One guy doing a rescue green JKU did a nice write up! I'm going this route as soon as the weather gets consistently warm around here again. I'd love to ditch the carpet!

I did monstaliner roll on. Good product and easy to work with, but doesn't have the texture you'd get with raptor or rhino liner. Monstaliner is much smoother so it traps less dirt.

Its held up pretty well over the last 2 years

x2... I prefer the smoother texture of the Monstaliner, I've had it for nearly 2 years and have zero complaints.

^ you bring up an interesting point. I would prefer a liner that is easy to clean. I heard it has more to do with the application as in the psi and distance from which you apply.

Yea, I bought the kit to roll 1 pick up bed. It was enough. Buy extra rollers though. They start to break up after a while.

I had one pick up truck bed LineX'd. It was expensive but awesome. Couldn't ask for anything better except price. It was about $550 at the time around 2001.

Around 2008 I had a different truck and decided to save some coin and Herculine it. Herculiner is a roll on product. It cost me about $125 and took me about a half a day to do.

It looked great and I was very happy for about 8 months. After that it flaked / rubbers / wore off. And yes I followed the directions.

I would never do that again.
