Default Rhino Liner

Hit the inside of my Jeep with rhino liner. Put two coats on and so far it's drying nice. Only cost $85 bucks for the whole kit. I read someone on here that a guy paid $800.00 to get his...you got ripped off. It's very easy to do.

Did you spray it or apply it some other way? I wasn't aware that you could buy DYI Rhino liner.

That's awesome I've been wanting to do this for a while. My buddy says that road noise and engine heat is way worse. Whats your experience?

I used raptor liner on mine, but it's been a couple of years. I don't notice at all. I'm sure it's a little warmer and louder but I got used to it

I have a jk, I raptor lined the inside and out. Black tub and orange body. Inside, gets pretty hot on the feet. It's a 6 speed and I like to drive barefoot. You can also hear lots of new little noises I feel like. Other than that, it's a great way to go. Still have yet to scratch even the slightest bit of it off.

Default Rhino/Raptor Coating

I am thinking of Raptor Coating the exterior of my '08 JK. There is a local body shop that will do it for $1100. Can not decide
on color or whether or not to do it. My silver exterior paint has already dulled, cracked and some sign of rust on the hinges.

Thoughts? Downside? Pros/ Cons? Color I should go with?

There is nothing "hard" about using U-Pol Raptor Liner, but just like most things, the job will only be as good as your prep work. The actual application of that product is easy peasy. Very little overspray and such. On the plus side, if you do it yourself you can always just do a little prep here and there. Not something that has to be done in a single day or anything. Your jeep would just look pretty ugly for a bit as you sand things down over a few days or whatnot. I raptor lined my tub. IDK, it's not something I'd want a whole exterior done in, but I do understand that is just personal preference and it sounds like it might be a better option than the current condition. I just did the standard black on my tub so I can't offer experience mixing or matching a tint.

One could place a pliable plastic over the liner when it is wet then reinstall the carpet and underlay. That would kill the noise.
