Default Rhino Rack Backbone Water Leak

Hi,

A few weeks ago i installed a new rhino rack backbone kit to my 2017 JKU. Now i realized, that the rear bracket have created a water leak :(
It runs in this rear gap of the hardtop and then makes it's way to that hole i had to drill into the top... somehow the fibreglass broke out of the hole as you see on the picture...
anyone got expirience with this problem or advice to fix this? I think about sealing the whole gap across the hardtop with some silicone..

,
thx

My right rear bracket leaks occasionally, i don't think in the same manner as yours though. I plan on taking the top off this summer and silicone in and around all penetrations for the rack. The front one on mine also leaks a touch but again, only under certain conditions

I have the same issue, Rhino Rack Backbone leaking in the rear corner with the plastic coming apart. Only on one side. No resolution.
