Entertaining video, but not what I had hoped. Instead of running over it again and again - which I’ll never do with my Jeep - I wish they hit it with heaver and heaver sledgehammer/force - which is something I may do with my Jeep.

Anyway, I still like the covers and have them on order.

I just got mine in the mail (UPS guy knows where I live now) and I'm thinking about painting mine redrock to match the body

ARB's sure have a lot of flat 90 degree surface area to catch on rocks and stuff.
And is that a drain plug I see down at the bottom screaming hit me hit me?

What kind of paint do you use to paint these? I'm looking to paint them just black, but anything special?

I haven't put a lot of hurt to them yet (just some hits on the edges), so I don't know how they'll hold up to a solid smack.


Back to the paint - when I painted mine I first used their primer, and did not use a clear coat to finish:
