Default Riddler or G2?

I am undecided about the two covers. The aluminum claims to dissipate heat faster than the ductile. The ductile would probably be stronger, but again, I don't do any rock crawling. Also, is there any issues with having to put more fluid into these covers than the OEM would hold?

Both should be just fine for any lift. The G2 is nice if you have higher gears because they generate more heat the alum will dissipate heat better than 3/8 steel. But the steel ones are much stronger, so it is give and take either way.

Steel is the only way to go IMHO . If you had a F350 and were towing a 40' trailer I would say buy the aluminum but not for our use.

Gears that are set up properly do not create enough heat to fail .

the problem with the skyjacker lift is the one piece of the lift connects to the diff cover. It uses 2 or 3 bolts from it. So all after market covers dont work.
