ride quality
Ive got a 2010 sahara unlim. Going with 1 3/4" or 2" BB, and 33x12.50's..for starters..but didnt know if anybody knew how that would affect the 'stock' ride of the jeep..better or worse
-thanks
-thanks
The ride shouldn't be affected because you aren't changing your spring or damping rates, but your steering and handling is subject to the change in geometry created by the lift.
The change is nominal and I haven't seen complaints from BB owners regarding either. If anything is just triggers the addiction to bigger and taller.

I just installed the Teraflex Level kit, a ~1.5" coil spacer kit, along with MT Baja MTZ 33x12.5x15 tires. Its been one week and I have logged ~1k miles. I noticed a couple of changes.
The increase in tire size from the OEM 32s to 33s hurt the acceleration. Its not rediculous, but its annoying.
The increase weight of the tires and the 15" steelies along with the increase in ride height have decreased the MPG by ~2.5. Not the end of the world for me, but I logged 50k miles last year in my JK, so its an issue.
Biggest drawback for me was the increase in body roll. I am sure most Jeepers dont worry too much about the on road handling characteristics, but the increase in tire flex really lets the jeep wonder under modest cornering. I spend a great deal of time on curvy roads, and the tires just flex a bit much for me.
On the plus side, the ride is plusher, the jeep looks pimp-tacular, and the girl friend flashes me "the goods" climbing in and out everyday.
If I had it over, I would have went with the level kit and OEM wheels & 33s with the hopes of avoiding all the tire flex.
hope that helps
