Default Ried Knuckes Vs. Welded C's

Wondering what the opinions are. Obviously The knuckles are overall better than stock, the question is, for a D44 that will never see larger than a 37 is the cost vs. benefit there? In researching there doesn't appear to be a noticeable problem with people breaking their knuckles only the C's. So $530 plus time to install and the added cost of a DL flip or $60 and some welding to do the C's and call it good. Cost vs. benefit on 37's and used 50% DD 30% faster desert (realitive to slow crawling, not racing. 20% Rock crawler.

And that is my opinion as well all things considered. Again comparing cost vs. benefit in a specific application. But someone here may have a a different spin.

If your not worried about the cost I would say do it. With the Reid Knuckles your lifting the tie rod and drag link up like an inch or so. And something you don't hear is anyone saying they regret doing this upgrade

Thats the point of the post, if money was no object well, hell, throw 100k plus at your jeep. But when considering cost vs benefit in a specific parameter does it make sense? I don't think so, I'm looking for others opinions.

One is not a substitute for the other. Knuckle breakage isn't a problem for most but the vulnerable/low tie rod is. The Reid knuckles obviously address that.

The C's are a different story and can be a problem. Gusset them to reduce the chance of bending, regardless of if you run stock or Reid knuckles.

Reid knuckles and C's are two completely different things. Knuckles attach to the C's with ball joints. So it's good to still gusset the C's

Right, I guess I rarely see people doing both or I'm just not paying attention. It seems most people do the C gussets and call it a day. It appears doing the C's is the biggest concern, there are not a lot of people breaking knuckles or at least not reporting it true or no?

Personally gussetting C's is a cheap investment where as Reid's are much more costly
