Default The Right Shocks for a Teraflex 2.5" BB

Looks like I've decided to go with the Teraflex 2.5" BB.

The next question is, do I keep the OEM shocks and add the extension adapters or upgrade to a new shock? Teraflex BB has an option to add Teraflex 9550 Shcoks for an extra $150. Does anyone know if these are any good or is there a better shock out there for about the same price?

I was told the stock shocks are as good as the aftermarket ones so I decided to purchase the shock extentions and try those, so far very happy, and if in the future I change my mind I could always purchase something else .if something works well why change it

i agree i used the extensions on mine as well works perfectly and the ride is as smooth as it was stock

ive never had realyl good luck with aftermarket shocks, they always made the ride really harsh

OEM shocks with extensions for me as well. Two days later I did some wheel'n with plenty of flexing. I could not be happier.

once again, it looks like being a part of this forum is going to help me get a quality product and save me some at the same time.

Thanks for the testimonies...

I went with the extensions too. I do plan on getting new shocks down the road. I am mostly waiting for the OME shocks. I have had them on other jeeps and been very happy with them compared to others I have owned.
