Default Rigid Industries Dually's or Inspired Engineering 6LED Cubes??

I am in the market for some spot lighting for my A-pillar. I was dead set on purchasing the Dually spots (not the D2's), I can't bring myself to spend $300+ on lighting that I will not be using constantly until...

I came across the Inspired Engineering LED's and haven't seen a ton of feedback on them yet so I thought I would come to yall. I'm looking at the 6LED Cubes which I think would be comparable to the D2's for the price of the D1's.

So guys help me make the decision between the two, they are both right under $150, any info yall can give would be appreciated. Do you have these yet, what do you think, and what's the light output compared to the Rigids?

Thanks

I have Inspired's LED cube fogs in my JK and have nothing but positive things to say about them.

I will also be purchasing their 6cube a-pillar kit in the near future.

Great company to work with. No point in spending more for Rigid's...

Last I looked the Rigid dually spots were $199.00 a pair. They are a pencil pattern. I don't think there is a spot beam in the D2's only the Duallys unless you go with the hyper spots for $279. And I am willing to bet those are double power what the Inspired Engineering. I'm willing to bet the basic Ridgid Dually Spots are comparable apples to apples

This is why I come to you guys, responses in minutes!! You have the 4LED for your fogs not the 6LED correct? I am curious what the rating is on the Inspired Engineering LED's I can't find any hard numbers. It says the Rigids Dually's are 1568 raw lumens and the D2's are 3030.

Yes there is only Driving, Wide, or Diffused for the D2's. Alot of people still use them mounted on their A-pillar but I was wanting to compare the original Dually's to the 6LED Inspired ones. Forum vendors can get you a heck of a deal on these all you have to do is ask in the vendors section

Correct, I have the 4CUBE in my fogs. They are extremely bright.

I think I remember seeing somewhere in a thread that their 6CUBE lights were rated at 2120 lumens, so their 4CUBE are probably slightly less than that.

I would just send Sami@inspired-engineering a private message and I'm sure he can answer any question you may have.

I currently run
D2's in my Fog light locations
Dually Spots on each side of winch on top of front bumper
Q-4 series for A Pillar
SRQ for back ups mounted on top of rear taillights
I will be removing the Dually spots and replacing them with a diffused wide pattern and putting them in the bumper or on top haven't decided

Nice set up, I could probably see you coming from the next state over.

I actually only use certain ones for specific times None of them I feel I can leave oncoming traffic, so it's a constant switching on and off if I run my D2's, that's why I went with a better headlight setup. That's why I'm considering switching my Dually spots for a set of either Diffused or wide pattern. I could run them on all the time and also be a great work light area if needed. If I was looking at just upgrading my stock Fogs as a set of DD upgrades I'd do either the Rigid Duallys or the 4 LED cubed kit, so a guy isn't blaring out others
