Default RIM OPINION NEEDED!and bs help....

what do you guys think of this rim?
it's a 17x9 with +10 backspace
how does that compare to a 4.75 backspace? I don't understand the difference...

btw, I'm planning on 33/12.50x17 and eventually 35's will this work?

Go to the sticky at the top of this page for FAQ. It is explained very well. Good luck.

Something sounds wrong there. Could ??? mean +1" (positive offset) ??? With the mounting surface in the center, offset is zero and with lets say a 10" wide wheel the backspace would be 5". Now you can have positive and negitive offset. This moves the mounting surface out or in towards the axle.

The +10 sounds more like millimeters of offset, not backspacing. Some rim manufacturers list offset rather than backspace. The faq above explains the difference in these 2 measurements quite well.

DOH!!! MY FAULT GUYS!
it is +10 OFFSET.
sorry, but it doesn't list a backspacing.....

here is the link to the same rim.
the ones they have in stock at my tire store are 17x9 +10 OFFSET
what about backspace??? after reading the FAQ i still don't get it....
so i guess my question is......

on a 17x9 rim, a +10 offset = fow much backspace?

I'm sorry i don't understand the FAQ, I just need some help.
