Default Rim questions?

I bought this 07 X used, 18" incubus rims and 37" mickeys. It's got a 4" teraflex lift. The rims arnt my style and i think are to big really.... But should I look at selling these rims for some cheap steelys? Or just rap them with some nitto mud grapplers? And if I do get other rims... What sizes? 15?16?

For 37s, 18" wheels are not bad. But nothing beats that footprint on the trail with a smaller wheel diameter. But spend the cash on whatever suits you for now

Nice score though, great JK

The most you could get for that set, depending on their condition is ~80/rim. New they're ~150. I would keep them and thrash them on the trails unless you've got cash to burn. I did the same thing with my AR Mojave's until I had enough saved up for the XD's. I'm pretty partial to 17" rims because of the tire availability w/that size. 18's can be a little tricky and the price jumps up if you're really set on one brand/size of MT tire. Nice jeep btw

You get more footprint with a 37 aired down on a 15" rim, but you get more bounce too and that is a bad thing. I have 17" rims myself. 18" is fine, but the tires more expensive.
