rim size
i am eventually going to get 315/75r17 duratracs with procomp 7005's, my question is until i can buy the duratracs will the 7005's work with my stock 255/75/r17? and should i get 17x8 or 17x9 procomp's. just want to be sure that the rims will work with the stock tires until i can afford to upgrade. thanks for the help
Well...the Duratracs have a recommended wheel size range of 8.5-10", so that would lead you to want to run the 17x9's (you can still get away with running the 17x8 with them though), but if you want to stick with the stock Rubi tires for a while, then the 17x9 7005 wheels would be a bit too wide for the recommended size.
If it were me, I'd go with the 17x9's and just wait to put them on till I ordered the tires. (Or just wait and order the tires and wheels at the same time - you can probably get a better deal getting everything together.)
And stock rims are 17x7.5

sorry for the confusing question, i was typing in a hurry. basically the question is, will the procomp 7005's fit my stock tires (255/75r17) and duratrac 315/75r17, and would a 17x8 or 17x9 be better?? Hopefully, this question is more clear now...thanks again.
