Cool Rim and Tire Purchase Advice

So I have a 2015 Unlimited Sport. I recently purchased Rubi shocks and the Teraflex leveling kit (coil spacers). I am getting this installed in a week. My question is regarding tires and wheels:

I am looking at a Mickey Thomas 17x9 4.5 BS Mickey Thompson Classic III Wheel | Quadratec

Currently running stock and good year wranglers. I want to go to larger wheels with no rubbing issues. I am looking at General Grabbers and I see both 265/70R17 and 285/70R17. I read about how 4.5 back spacing is what you want to avoid rubbing with larger tires. I would like to go with 285/70, but wondering if a 4.5 BS rim will avoid rubbing while running a 285/70?

If not I will probably go with a 265 and potentially a different rim in general.

Thanks

285/70 x 17s will be plenty good with 4.5in back spacing. 4.5 is good for at least up to a 315/70 x 17 or 12.50in wide equivalent.

Happy Jeeping!

If you choose 265/70/17. Your actually getting a smaller tire than what you have. Shorter, less
Side wall and only a tad bit wider. I'm getting 285/75/17 trail grapplers installed with stock rims and spidertrax spacers this Thursday.
