He has a 2.5" now, adding another 2" probably isn't the best choice.

Many people don't like them, but any of the 1-1.25" body lifts will work fine.

This is 2.5" RC lift on ProComp35's with 17x10" steelies (4.5" backspace) you will rub with articulation, unless you trim the fenders.
