ring gear wear pattern
I have another link to that. Basically a metalic noise that gets loader as I go faster. Do these gears look OK?

With a lift installed your axel will twist the pinion up. Because of this your outer pinion bearing my be running dry. If you install a lift or adjust pinion angle you should over fill diff to make sure all internals get lube. Drain diff fluid. Check for metal chips. Then refill . But it may be to late. I run about 3 quarts in mine. 2 up front.
Well I'm gonna say it's virtually impossible to see how your gears are meshing by this photo, get some paint to spin a pattern...but I highly doubt that's your problem....usually your going to hear a whine, not a grind if your gears aren't meshing correctly...'cause if your hearing a grind between the gears, something would BAD WRONG...and because it aint a big pile of metal garbage in there I bet they're fine.....bearings? ...possibly...but how did you pinpoint the sound? ...put the rear end up on jack stands, run the engine and put it in gear to pinpoint your sound
