The shift points were off. They say it is needed on some but not all. And since everything we do to MAX requires a little extra it wasn't a surprise.

Since part of the install for me had to include digital gauges to track Boost, and Trans Temp since the 2011 doesn't have that option like our 2016 JKU. So, we worked with JPI in Yucaipa and a different trans cooler was installed and placed behind the radiator. So, when the fan kicks on, you see an immediate drop in temp. Usually, takes longer than stock for the fan to kick on because I had already changed over to an alum dual core radiator. But it works well now.

Well? What are your thoughts?!

I got my tuner back, installed the tune, took it for short ride yesterday. No codes or dash lights! I had a 1/4 tank of 87 left in so I kept the throttle light until I could fill up with 91. I haven't really got on it yet, but you can really hear and feel it start to pull right after 2k RPM. Going to pickup a bumper about 90 minutes away tomorrow, excited for the drive.

Mine kit has the blow off valve which recirculates back into the blower. Can this be removed, are their negative side effects to leaving the BOV open and capping the port on the blower?

I did not touch the adjustment on the BOV I need to better understand how to adjust it and why to adjust it.

Wife asks "whats wrong with the Jeep now, it keeps whistling." I replied "nothing is wrong, its just happy."

So i just got home from the 100 mile drive from Rebel and my initial impressions are WOW!! What a difference in drivability. I haven't even got on it yet as i need the gears to break in but it drive SOO much better. Not only did drivability improve my gas milage did as well. I took the same route back as i did up to Rebel. With 37's and 4.88's i got 15.7mpg(35's and 4.88 where just a hair better), with 37's and 5.38's and supercharger i got 18.2mpg and had bumper to bumper traffic in a few spots on the way home so i think i could have gotten close to 19mpg. I have never seen numbers like that even when i was stock. On another plus side my transmission held 4th gear way better than it ever has, the one time it did downshift it pulled the whole hill. What an AWESOME upgrade for the 3.8L, obviously it's not a race Jeep but it does make drivability sooo much better.

First day on my normal commute to work 30 miles one way, all seems good. Torque app running with normal daily traffic in San Diego.

Well I been dealing with RIPP Tuning and DIABLO Tuning since October ( A whole new form of hell!) and finally had a custom tune done by EVANS Tuning, and wow The Jeep Drives Like a Grape Ape! I opted for the long tube headers and high altitude kit from RIPP and on 92 octane at 10 psi produced 283 tq / 257 whp. Spike in graph was dyno adjusting load mid pull since car was auto transClick image for larger version

Great #'s and with an Auto trans! Odd you were having issues, I installed the kit myself and used the Diablo Tuning straight out of the box (after updating it online of course) and everything has ran great. I'm running the Intune RM1000 and the Hi Alt pulley on 91 octane. I have the Ripp long tube headers but they are not installed, I'll likely sell them because they will not pass emissions here in Cali.

Unfortunately this was the first gen 2 kit that came out and was previously in the Jeep before my brother in-law purchased it. The Jeep was built for MOAB and basically was a toy. My brother in-law never really drove the jeep so he decided to sell It to me. I've been fixing and trying to get it road legal since October. In fact I just fixed the EVAP problem and think all monitors should re-set by Friday for inspection. Fingers crossed

I'm looking for a thread on blow off valve adjustments, have you come across one?

I've read some internet post on BOV for the RIPP. The Turbosmart TS-0203-1022 seems to be a good replacement, not sure of the adjustability though.
