Shorties are fine, long tubes may be an issue and you're on your own.

I am running shorties and the Superchips without issue.

The headers are almost finished. Had to have the back end pipes cut and repositioned to work with my RE long-arm kit and coilovers. Also got rid of those two unmonitored cats that were just taking up space and adding weight. Now, I need to throw on a different muffler and I'll be done. Should have some pix later this week and a video so you can hear it.

dude work harder! Why are you putting on a new muffler? What were you rolling with before and what's coming now?

lol, I had the original MBRP that RIPP recommends for their supercharger. With the new headers, it sounds like an '82 Supra at high revs. The new MBRP DDR sounds like this:

From what I understand, the neww DDR installs quickly - right off the merge collector and clamps to the stock exhaust. They say you can use it as a resinator or a main muffler. I'm not sure which way to go with this.

I just talked to ripp and they pretty much demanded I get the headers with a Diablo predator instead of a flashpaq. I called flashpaq and they said do NOT run a flashpaq with the headers and even suggested I get a Diablo...so I did. $300 shipped. Ordering headers tonight.

RIPP Headers Deliver! Spent an hour on the dyno this morning and the JK feels like a whole new vehicle. The first thing I noticed when pulling out of the parking lot was the immediate throttle response. You can see by the chart, I'm over 150 hp and torque at 1,500 RPM's. I used to have to rev it up to 3,500 to get those numbers. Can't wait to try it out on the trail.

Run 20 - Best dyno run back in Feb, 2010
Run 34 - Best run from today (6/23/10)

No, not yet. I'm hoping to get the DDR installed tomorrow. You might be okay with the Magnaflow.

I don't have a programmer but when it's time, i will go with the Predator.
