After a little bit of cutting and swearing I got the DDR on. I still have my magnaflow on and there is ZERO rice rockety-ness now which is sweet. The sad thing is the DDR is rubbing against the frame. I can't quite figure out how to fix all this. Joe got any suggestions?

 

Here's the MBRP DDR muffler with the headers. I think it sounds nasty! The alignment with the pipes and the muffler are a little crooked though right now which I need to fix.

I'm tryn to get the most angry sound I can out of the 3.8 engine. I've got the CAI, Jet Stage 2 Chip and the MBRP Off-Road Cat. Is there anything other than the headers that I can do to get some more sound? Also I heard putting on headers on the 3.8 JK engines are kind of a waste of money...Thoughts?

There are only so many hours in the day! I'll get it to you don't worry! On heavy heavy acceleration it can still sound a TAD bit ricey but i think it sounds mean.

after a week or so with just the DDR muffler on it sounds ricey again which is weird. The muffler isn't lined up completely straight and I'm wondering if that could have something to do with it...could it? I'm probably just gonna throw my magnaflow back on the back.

 

Has your power/torque changed much with the muffler re-configurations, or do you believe it's still just slightly better than stock (10 Hp)?

Ehhh it's hard to tell. I mean there is def more power because i can get to 60mph in 3rd gear but it sounds like shit right now.

 

Just got my magnaflow back on and I'm happy again. Only thing that sucks is I've had a check engine light on a for a while and brought in to an exhaust shop to check it out and they said that they think my left cat is blown. Sweet. They were telling me they get so hot that as soon as they hit mud they just like implode or something. Who knows.
