Default RIPP & PSC Power Steering pump install issues

Has anybody installed exactly this combination?

RIPP SC and a PSC Power Steering pump? I have found one post that there were some alignment/clearance issues but only that post. I cannot believe that there have not been at least one or two more out there.

Any experience would be great.

The only good answer I found to the cooler issue is "under" the radiator...Planman has a body lift of 1" that gave him room.

I am worried about there being enough room between the pump and SC

Actually, I have removed the body lift. I had to trim the plastic shield under the radiator and slightly bend the hard fluid lines on the passenger side.

Here is a pic when it had the body lift:

does anyone know if the smittybilt cutout grills allow for more room up front to mount an inline heatsink cooler or something like planman has? because with the stock JK grill its almost touching the ic, it might clear up some space...

In most cases you don't a cooler with the PSC system.PSC makes a bracket that holds a trans cooler and a ps cooler together.I'm not running that bracket but have both coolers in front of the radiator. Not running RIPP either

i ran a psc steer assist with supercharger. I used that same thread you posted for a guide on the install. i had to do some grinding to the front of the block where the ps pump mounts to give clearance for the pulley, i did use the washer he suggest to help align things. I also had the same issue with where to mount the ps cooler because i have a trans cooler behind the radiator. I cut the top mounts off the intercooler and secured it using the lower mounts through the bottom of the radiator support. i mount the ps cooler on top of the intercooler, had to grind the fins down to make it fit between the top of the radiator support and the intercooler.

it worked for me. I forgot to add that i had to trim the tip of the hood latch for clearance. If you have any questions let me know.

Default Belt length ?

One last question. What Belt length did you use?

The PSC pulley is "Smaller" so they supply a "larger" idler pulley.

I am also running the "High Altitude" pulley.
