Default ripp supercharger install/issues

First ide like to start off that I'm not posting this to bash any company that's in involved with this install.. also posting this as part of my build and hopefully will help anyone else that has or had these issues. With that being said....

I currently installed a ripp supercharger in my 13 JK Unlimited sport.. install went great with minor issues as far as "installation " as far as getting it running that's another story.. after tuning with the diablo i2 with the previous tune sent from ripp I was unable to start my rig.. just would not want to start.. after trouble shooting I tried my factory MAP sensor and could start and idle my rig.. still ran rough and very rich.. no more than an idle though.. this was on the ripp tune.. as soon as I switched back to the ripp MAP and Re installed the tune..brick (no start).. PCM is throwing barometric low flow And a throttle low pressure... if anyone has had this problem please leave me some info.. currently waiting on ripp to get back to me as it is Sunday. . Thanks guys I'll keep you informed

RIPP will get you running. They are a stand up company.

Hello there,

I,m really sorry to hear about your issue there with your RIPP SC
I had a similar issue don't remember the exact codes I had in my rig
It was a few years ago ....
Mine was a software issue had to go to the dealer ship pay like 50 bucks for a PCM RESET
And reinstall the tune got NO ISSUES AFTER THAT.....
The RIPP TUNE cannot be stacked on the top of another tune
You either revert to stock tune for the install
Or do a complete re set that's what I,m suggesting you do..
The RIPP SC company has a great customer support
There's a lot of awesome people willing to help
Call the RIPP tunes department and talk to Chris or Ross in the NY area Staten Island
They are great human beings .
Hope you fix your gear soon
Keep an update with your issue

Hey PaPaw, I'm very sorry to hear you're running into issues! Based on your information it sounds like the tune is not installed on the PCM. The factory calibration will not read the RIPP map sensor and therefore throw a Barometric code. The Chrysler ECU's can be very finicky, this is why we recommend turning off all electronics including the radio and doing the key cycles slowly and patiently, making sure the key goes all the way to the off position then full back to the on position.

I would be more than happy to run through the tuning with you if you like until the vehicle is up and running

Please let us know if you need anything else!

Thank you,
Chris R
