Default Ripp supercharger question

Hey guys, anyone know if you need to have the hose that connects to blowout valve and recirculates the air back to the supercharger? Without the house the supercharger woosh sound is so much louder and I kinda like that. Thanks for the help!

Just in case someone else run into this problem.... I found the answer... The reason why I had that extra hose is because my supercharger kit had a silencer installed. The air is recirculated hence removing 90% of the woosh sound or whistle whatever from the supercharger. I guess all be removing that stupid hose and covering the hole that was drilled to recover the silencer hose thing. Now if I get tired of the whine all know how to cut it down.
