Default River Raider Snorkel System

Dear All,

Has anyone tried the River Raider Snorkel system yet? Without having seen one yet, apart from photos off the web, i'm a bit sceptical of it denting easily since it's constructed of aluminium. Also, logic tells me that if a snorkel system would be practical and popular for JK's, there would be more manufacturers producing some like Safari etc. Any comments on why there appears to be so few around?

There are several members that have the RR, do a search and you should find a ton of info. I know there are other companies that have them just out (AEV) or coming (Volant), I think most focused on lifts and bumpers as there is likely much higher demand.

I have one and love it!!!! I had the jeep in water over the hood last weekend and it performed flawlessly. The owner of river raider (Kenny) is really easy to deal with and a great guy. I highly suggest you get one.

Here is mine

I have one along with their tube fenders and sliders. I also ordered their rear bumper.

Thanks for the pics and info! The RR system looks really slick - love the water wading pic, mrsig. As you can imagine ordering accesories from the States, living down-under and not really getting to experience the products first hand can be a bit of a leap of faith. Especially being on a student budget!

Default River Raider Snorkel and roof rack

Before i forget...has anyonve fitted with the river raider snorkel system looked at installing a roof rack like the one from Gaven ind. or Wild boar? WOuld the mounting brackets for the roof rack be/get in the way of the snorkel mounts?

I think the roof rack would interfere with the snorkel and vice versa. The mounts would need to be modified but i think it could be made to work with a lil welding possibly.

i have the rr snorkel and love it
