RK 2.5 coil spring install
So im replacing the stock coils/2.5 pucks on my 13 jku with the rk 2.5 coil springs. Im really wanting to try this myself. Im just wanting to verify I have the right approach?
Jack front up and place 6 ton jack stands under frame behind lower control arms. Remove shock, sway bar links, brake line extensions, track bar, and transmission skid plate. With a jack under the front diff, slowly let down until enough room for coils to come out and replace. Am I on the right track? Obviously this is the front. Do place jack stands on rear frame in front of lower control arm to do the rear coils? Any helpful advice is appreciated. I really want to learn this and be somewhat confident before I start.

Its really simple just a little overwhelming i suppose if you've never done it. Its a great way to learn what stuff is and how it works. I hate all the people that have dealers or 4x4 shops do everything... Also I wouldn't reccomend spacers in the rear...

Most lifts accommodate for the rake adding spacers will bring it back. Also the rk springs are progressive and don't sag as much. I have them and even removed the factory rubber ones when i stretched it. It sits level and weighed down with all my trail gear and spares there is only a hardly noticeable rake where the rear is lower.

Why wouldn't you want to add spacers in the rear if needed? I asked the rock krawler rep here on the forum and Smashboogey 4x4 who I bought my coils from, and because of the weight I have in the rear with my heavy spare and tire carrier (250lbs) , they both recommended I add 1 inch spacers. Pretty sure that the fronts coils are progressive and the rear coils are not, so the fronts handle the extra weight better when the rears could use spacer if there is significant weight.
Mine sits level . only recommended this to the OP if he has a lot of weight in the rear. don't mean to deviate from the original thread topic, just my take ...

You are correct the rears are not sorry. But i have about 300 pounds in the rear and loaded down adds about another 150 to 200 even fully loaded and no stock rubber isolators it only sits a tad bit higher in the front...if you want to you can it won't hurt anyting i just feel its it a needed expense. I spose if you have heavy rear and no front weight for some reason its possible.. But i feel if you add a front bumper and winch you will want to remove the rear spacers...
Thanks for all the informative info. When installing the new rk 2.5 coils, is there a proper method for seating the coils. Maybe thats not best way of asking. I just want to make sure I get them seated correctly.
