Default RK double adjustable front track bar install help

Can anyone lend any advice, or a step by step here? The instructions that came with the track bar are pretty vague to say the least (they cover installing 2 or 3 versions of their lifts, and make no mention of how to install the TB). I've never done one of these before, and the double adjustability and overall install process has me . My axle shifted approximately .5" to the driver side. Thanks in advance for the help!

Call Jeremy at RK and ask the recommended length to set at according to your lift height.
Thats what I did for my 3.5" lift but can't remember the length

Two bolts hold it on, just remove the old one and replace it with the new one, pretty simple. If your axle is .5" off center make the new track bar 5/8" longer. The double adjuster allows you to loosen both jam nuts and spin the rod while it is on the jeep to adjsut the length. I would put some blue loctite on the jam nuts so they don't loosen up once you get it adjusted to length.

Thanks guys... I know it has to be a pretty simple process, and that I was overcomplicating it to some degree.

Actually look up any of their lifts on their site and click on the pdf instructions on installation. It gives you the length to set it at and how to install it.

You will want to put some muscle on the wrench when tightening up the jam nuts.

Spec calls for 200 ft-lbs of torque....blue loctite for sure

I think RK recommends red loctite for all their jam nuts.

I don't see where RK specifies either type....but in any case a little thread locker is never a bad idea on suspension hardware.

Rock krawler mentioned it in another thread about one of their kits on here. But your right, as long as he has something.

So I found the length based on lift specs (thank you!), but it seems that all of their instructions install the track bar with their bracket. Is that something just specific to the RK kit that helps re-locate the steering stabilizer (as the instructions seem to indicate)? Just want to make sure that I don't take it all apart just to find out it won't work w/out their bracket.
