Default Rock Crawler drag link

Any input on this drag link? Any interference issues with the JKS track bar bracket?

I have both and love the drag link. It stiffened my steering and does not bend like the stocker did. I flipped my drag link and put the track bar in the top hole and now there's room to put the stabilizer up higher. The drag link contacts the track bar bolt slightly at full turn but it's not an issue.

I will not be flipping, just looking at the set up stock, it appears that I should be fine?

Can you show me some pics how your stabilizer is set-up? I have the RK tie rod and drag link (did the flip)....but I'm waiting on a bracket from RK to mount stabilizer to tie rod, 2010 JK's stock bracket won't work with the RK tie rod.

Thanks!

I believe it should be fine. I ran the drag link in the stock location without the JKS bracket before my current setup. The JKS brace moves your track bar bolt out slightly (due to metal thickness) so again you'll contact the track bar bolt at full turn, but I don't consider it a problem since it doesn't really affect the steering limit. The RK stuff is designed with minimal bends in it to keep it strong and straight but gives little clearance between components. The added stiffness the RK stuff gives is well worth any small sacrifices. I am so happy I switched to the RK tie rod, drag link, and track bar. I'll never need to replace them ever again.

Hey Jim,
My jeep is not with me at the moment to take pics, but I wouldn't suggest putting your steering stabilizer where I have mine. The RK tie rod comes with new U bolts that work with the factory bracket. that's what I have now. I have the left side of the stabilizer mounted in the bottom right hole in the JKS bracket which is higher and further to the right than the stock location. By moving the stabilizer to the right so much, it barely clears the diff cover and the shock hits the bolts on the bracket that connects to the tie rod. The angle is a bit forced... I plan to relocated it back to the left and above the tie rod on the JKS bracket (with a bolt or small bracket welded on) and then weld a bolt on the tie rod for a much cleaner setup.
