I considered those once apon a time, but was then informed that they wouldn't withstand too many solid hits. Also, look at the ground clearence you would be giving up. I personally went with the body armor sliders (a little more $$, but have more than paid for themselves in the damage they have prevented), and I haven't regretted it for one second. Well, honestly I wish that I had gone with something that was frame mounted, vice just body mount. Just my

I am considering them as well. I think they look pretty good for the money. I mainly off road in soft areas like the beach, back bay fishing trails,and some mud at the deer lease so I dont need something super strong like most do.

Are the Body Armor sliders frame mounted? How difficult was the install? I'm considering these as well.

They are chassis mounted, and they were simple to install (no drilling). They just bolt on in place where the side steps are/would be.

They will take a beating, that's for sure. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with something frame mounted though because you never know when that extra little bit of support will come in handy.
