Pcoplin, any chance you could measure the outside of tire to outside of tire for me? Give me an idea of how much wider I'd be. Maybe a picture of your JK too? Which D60 did you go with?
thanks,

Mine with 35x12.5-17 and 4.75" backspace is 78" wide with stock D44's. Width may not be such an issue with a lot of you guys but I like getting into tight narrow trails and honestly I don't like the look of the guy local to me that tossed on full width D60's and the inside of his tires are outside of the sides of the body.

Why are you looking at tons for 35's? The dana 44's should be just fine. I am at 84" with 40"x12.5" tires and 4.5" of back spacing. 72" WMS. You need the extra width for steering clearance. You can always limit the steering and stay narrow and make 20 point turns all day on the trails.

I'm on the way to tons and 37"s. Looks like you stretched the back and front also? I look for more info on your rig set up.

That's the ticket right there. I will work toward that for sure. 2" per side wider I will be happy with that. What D60's did you use? I've cut and shortened D60's on another rig and want to stay away from doing it again. Yours is even white like mine. Maybe your ready to sell? Did you go Long arm kit?

The Jeep had a RockJock front end, but I bought it from him without a front axle. I built a SUperDuty front using Artec's kit and built my own 3 link. It had a RockCralwer 3 link but am going to rework the rear and to more a a midarm 4-link with trackbar. The RockKrawler rear end handles like garbage.

Check the location of the front right side upper control arm mound before you make any decisions.
