Rock Krawler 2.5
I have searched and can not find the info i want on this lift. Can anyone tell me what you netted with the Rock Krawler 2.5 stock mod lift front and back on a jku (more than 2.5). I am contenplating the 2.5 stock mod and the 2.5 flex (big price difference, but want to do it right). Are the front lca's really needed, brake extension lines? Does this kit even out the rake, what if i add a 1" space to even out will this change the need for lca's and brake line extensions. Currently I have the aev 2" spacer lift and 33x12.5x15 goodyear duratracs will my current bump stops be sufficent will the brake line extension brackets be sufficent. Thanks in advance for the help. pic welcomed.
Not sure on the 4-door since I have a 2-door, but you should get at least 3" of lift over factory springs. RK is known to give a little more then the stated amount. You won't have to add any spacers on top of the springs, they will level the vehicle.
You don't really "need" the lca, but they will help correct your caster for your front driveshaft and improve on road drivability. And I'd rather have longer brake lines then not enough.

On a 4 door you should expect to see 3" front and 2" rear with that lift. 2 doors are a little bit higher by about 1/2".. Let us know if you have any further questions and good luck with your build.

I got 3"...be very aware of your wheel offset if you are using their lower control arms. The OEM have a bend in them and RK's are straight and can rub if you are not using spacers or have a certin offset!!!

Put spacers on at first but everytime I went to have any work done the shops would get their panties in a wad and did not want to touch the driveline.
CALL RK and confirm with them.
(I ended up putting a different brand lower control arm on)

Got the stock mod plus LCA's (my castor was causing too much wandering on uneven roads). My backspace is 4.5 on 17x9 wheels. No rubbing issues at full turn. Alot of room left. Neted 3'' front (even w winch and bumper) and 2.25" rear. Sits near perfectly even (front is 1/8'' lower). I'm using TF brake line drop brackets on the rear, no brake line drops on front, and TF bump stops (kept all the TF stuff from BB). The front brake lines are fairly tight at full droop w the reccomended Bilstiens. As full droop and the wheels turned to lock, you will run into problems with the front brake lines. I'm just gonna add front drop brackets and all is good. Try the stock mod before getting LCA's. Some have reasonable castor numbers without them. No 2 JK's are alike. Mine unfortunately had super low castor after the lift. Her's some pics on level ground.

Here's a lame flex pic. Sorry. Everything is flat as a pancake here in NE Indiana.

Do you need to replace the drive shaft with the 2.5" Max lift for 2012 Rubicon 4dr?
