Default Rock Krawler 3.5"

So im going to be joining the JK family here in a few months and im trying to do as much research as i can so i can start my build as soon as i get it home
I have heard a lot of great things about the Rock Krawler suspension systems so i have been looking quite a bit at those
I know i want a 3-4" lift to run 35s and hopefully 37s
Im not a hardcore offroader... yet! But i plan to get there eventually so i want to built it right from the beginning
My big question is what is the big difference between the 3.5" flex vs the 3.5" X-factor vs. the 3.5" X-factor plus vs. the 3.5" Max Travel system? These are the few that i have really considered and cost isnt too much of a factor.
and i want to be able to put this on myself with a few buddies in the drive way so the more straight bolt on the better
any insight will help thanks

If you have any questions about any of the systems you need answered directly, please give us a shout. We are here to help. Good Luck with your build.

The good thing is all of our systems are upgradeable so no matter where you start to can achieve your end goal...

I have the 3.5 xfactor, only because the 3.5 max travel didnt exist yet.. The plus is a 3 link rear setup. I think....the difference between the xfactor and the max travel is draglink flip and front trackbar relocation.

I don't know what the draglike flip kit does but a trackbar is what keeps your axel centered under your Jeep. And when you lift it the front axel shifts to the passenger side? And the rear shifts to the driver side? Not 100% sure on that. But the relocation kit just makes it so your axel moves back to we're it is supposed to be.

I have the 3.5" x factor and love it. Rides way better then stock, wheels with the best of them, and you can't beat RK's warranty and service.

By raising the track bar and flipping the drag link you keep those parallel to each other and the ground which keeps the bump steer in check and makes for better steering.

An adjustable track bar is what centers your axle under the jeep.

Is it needed, not really, does it make the jeep handle better, I think so.
Well.! He explained it a lot better than I did. :p

As a person who got the entry level lift, get the x factor if you can. I'm looking at $300 per 1/4 set of control arms now.

Going with the X-factor myself. I don't mind the bumpy ride either, but I have 5 beautiful women in my house that will ot tolerate it...lol. As i understand it, the X-Factor is a nice improvement to have for Hwy stability and over-all offroad articulation. I don't think the Mid-arm flex is particularly bumpy though.
