Running the 5.5" kit with 3.5" coils provides you with a 3.5" xfactor suspension, but it adds the extras from the 5.5" kit that include the H.D. Drag Link and Drag Link Flip. You get a lower center of gravity, but with the added benefit of beefier steering linkage, no bumpsteer, and you can easily change it to a 5.5" lift by replacing the springs and swaybar links. I'm running the exact same setup, but I also added the RK HD Pro Tie Rod and RRD 2.0 shocks.

I just finished this exact install on my 2 door. I drove it without the steering kit then installed the steering kit and drove it. As my wife put it "it drove fine without the steering kit but with the steering kit the difference was like driving a boat and then a car"

By the way from a stock Sahara 2 door and the 3.5 springs with the 5.5 kit I got almost 6 inches of lift measured from the bottom of the front and rear bumpers. I have a stubby front bumper and a aftermarket rear tire carrier

We do rate our lift heights with typical builds - front bumper and winch, rear bumper and tire carrier... 2 doors will sit a little taller than a 4 door. We have had alot of 2 door guys ordering our 3.5" X Factor System with 2.5" coils to keep the COG lower. It is a nice build too.

Let us know if you guys have any questions and thanks for the support!

With the 5.5 x factor with 3.5in coils you get a drag link flip kit. The price difference shouldn't be that much more. That's what I did.

That's what I did too. It'll be nice at that ride height, which by the way, is way more than 3.5 inches. Call Bryan at 4wd, he gave me a killer price.
