i would like to know more about this kit and actual comments about ride quality but i dont see any threads with the 5.5 mid arm kit review

please post some info if you have thos kit thanks

 

I really like this kit on my jeep. So far it rides better then my 3.5 tereflex. Here's a pic

It's A LOT of lift, and even if you needed that much (you can fit 40's on 4" of lift), you would be better off going long arm.

 

I am running the 5.5 RK mid arm and I love it. I know it's bigger than what's used by the majority and I understand the debate with moving up to a long arm if going this big but at the end of the day it's all subjective. All I can say is the ride quality is awesome on and off road. I still need to trim some body to fit the 38s as I've bent in the rear wheel well when flexing. Getting that done tomorrow, in fact, and will also do a fork lift flex check.

 

Our 1st question is why do you want to go to a 5.5" lift?

I personally am looking at a 5.5-6" lift for the break over angle. With the rock crawling i do I don't get the belly clearance or performance out of any 4" or under lift. Also plan on upping foot size to 40's.

I'm looking to this thread as part of my own research into making the decision on Which lift to get @that size.

 

I have the 3.5" midarm and can say RK is top of the line equipment. Mine rides awesome under any circumstances.
