Rock Krawler Spring correction wedge on 2.5" lift?
does anyone use or has anyone seen the need for the rear spring wedges on a 2.5" lift?
i am replacing my 2.5" bb with the RK 2.5" springs and i wanted to add them at the same time if it's an issue. i get tired of taking apart and putting back together - installed BB, then add 1/2 inch spacer to front - now installing new springs - then if i don't do it now and need it i would have to drop rear springs again to add the wedges.
thanks for the feedback!

I asked the same question about a week ago because I am installing a 2.5 coil lift soon with spring retainers and wanted to know if the correction wedges would be ok to install...two or three people told me they installed them on their lifts with not issues.
So, I will be adding them to my left when I install next weekend... if everything gets here in time.

i will have the rear adjustable control arms to put on as well. when i'm done with this round of mods, i will end up with the 2.5" max travel system.
i don't know if by changing out the rear control arms it will make much difference in terms of spring position and the need for wedges??
i get the feeling that wedges aren't used by many 2.5"ers, maybe because the spring isn't really long enough to bow.
just wanted to be proactive and save a step if i could.
of course if i would have just started with the RK lift to begin with it would have saved alot of time - and money - you'd think i would have learned by now...

I recently put the coil wedges on my RK 2.5 lift and really like the results. Talking with RK they said that it is not really necessary but with some 2 doors it helps with the coils and adds just a slight lift.
I prefer a slight rack and it was perfect for me about a 1/4 inch in the rear so it still sits level loaded.
