Default Rock light idea.......

I have a Shrockwork winch stubby bumper on order. As soon as it gets here I intend to remove my stock bumper. The stock bumper has the flood lights in it.

Since the stubby appears to be just slightly wider than the frame I am thinking of welding on a bracket to the back of the bumper to install the factory fogs facing down and away from the front tires. This should be a very simple mod and work well lighting the trail at night without blinding my spotter using all factory hardware.

Thoughts?

Iv'e had led's in about the same spot on my tj that worked great, I'm sure some of the west coast guys will comment. Sounds like a brilliant idea with good use of materials, my only question is will the wide pattern of the fog lamps be wide enough for such a close distance to the ground? I'm sure youve thought of this. If pointed straight down is a 0 degree reference point, @ what angle are you talking about?

Actually I have never even driven the JK at night, so I have no idea how bright or wide a beam the factory fogs are. Until my build is complete the Jk sits in the garage.
