Rock Rails Suggestion
I am currently running the Rubi Rock Rails and want to add some steps to them. I am trying to decide between the following. Any suggestions?

I can measure them for you if you like they do stick out and up at a slight angle so they are not level by any means. My wife and kids use them all the time to get in and out so they are also practical in that regard but they are angled high enough that they give me more of the look and clearance that I like.

Ace are great from everything I've seen & heard. I went with poison spyder brawler rockers they've been great so far. You could also go with the poison spyder brawler rockers they have the same look as the ones you posted
Ace used their customers for R&D on the tire carrier. They've changed the design about 15 times since it was first put on the market. I went through 2 tire carriers in a month because the swing arm kept cracking welds. They sent me the second one which was supposed to be improved and much stronger. It took 3 days for it to crack the same weld my first one did and start dumping rusty water all over the bumper. After that I asked for a refund of the swing arm cost and kept the bumper.
I had ace rails originally and they flexed into my pinch seam. When I dropped onto a rock.
Personally I wouldn't put anything that isn't frame mounted on my jeep. If I was going to do it again I would get LOD.

Quoting myself for emphasis.
With any rail you have basically two options, body/body bolt mounted and frame mounted. Frame mounted will always be the strongest. Always. But often you sacrifice some clearance. Body/body bolt will be weaker due to what they mount to. Body bolt mounted have a tendancy to flex quite a bit and can contact the rocker panel and dent it. Direct body mount (boatside) are usually very high clearance, but are only as stong as the surface they attach to, and the factory sheet metal isnt all that strong.
FWIW I went with body mounted (boat side) Poison Spider Brawlers for the highest clearance possible. I have buckled my rocker panel in two spots since and dented the slider itself.

As far as the rails go, I guarantee that if you come down hard enough on them they will flex into the pinch seam. If you have rubi rails on with them I would guess it would push the rubi rail into the body. For my money I want rock sliders that do what they are meant to do... Protect the jeep. Body mounted sliders are great for a step and sliding on stuff but if you start pushing your jeep its only a matter of time before you come down hard on something.
That's right...make your own. I just recently went to Offroad Evolution in Fullerton and looked at their sliders, measured them, photo'd them and am now in the process of making them. Then, I can make them to my exact specs etc. With all the steel it comes to about 250 bucks in materials....welded by me. I'm having a ball making them. Gives some pride in not just buying a set but being involved in some fabrication.
Ace rock rails were the second real mod I did, right after the EVO skid plate system.
Since then I've added an Ace rear bumper/tire carrier and I am scheduled to have the front Ace bumper installed next week...
I don't work for them or anything but for the moderate rock climbing I've done, the Ace products have impressed me with their fit and finish and they are great to deal with on the phone, for my front bumper FedEx mashed the box and none of the nuts and bolts made it to my local 4x4 shop and they rushed the lost/missing parts right away.
