Default Rock sliders or lift

Well, I've determined which lift to purchase when I get one (teraflex spring w/ adptrs), but then the question is: rock sliders first, or the lift? I'm looking at the body armor extreme rock rail. Which way is the best use of my money right now? I can't decide...opinions? I'll eventually get both.

I'm in the opposite camp. Even with a lift you will still drag on stuff and bash on rocks, rock sliders first. My opinion is to armor up first, you will never out grow armor. Plus the first time you crash your non guarded body into something you will hate yourself. The sahara's side steps wont give you any real protection but will provide a hang up point.

In my opinion I would go with sliders first. They are a must unless you don't have much rocks and trees in your terrain.

I agree with Russ, Go with Rockers first.

You will regret the lift choice the first time you smash your rockers.

Thanks for the thoughts, 3 for lift, 3 for sliders . I live in Cali and plan to hit the mtns and Moab is on the horizon.

another slider vote here. that way you can wheel it and not worry too much about it while waiting for the lift in stock form, which we all know is quite capable

sliders - you can wheel your jeep really hard with them and not have to worry about beating up your rockers. more lift will give your jeep greater breakover angles but, if you're playing on rocks big enough to need greater breakover angles, you're most likely going to beat the crap out of your rockers.

oh, also, regarding sliders, is there any chance you might be willing to consider a different make? i know several guys who are currently running the ones you are looking at or have in the past and all of them have had problems with them bending up significantly from impacts. the way they mount up really isn't the best.
