Default Rock-trac swap!

Found myself a T Case out of a 2011 Rubi with less than 2200 Km on it! Picked it up today and work dependant I'll be installing it tomorrow or Saturday. For $750 you can't go wrong! Can't wait to try it out on my days off This will make rock crawling in Moab a little easier this summer

Made the change to the rock track a couple months back and only had it out once, but it was nice. Can't wait till Sunday to give it a proper try. The swap was very straight forward and having access to a lift makes it a much nicer swap.

T case modification that gives you Lo range gearing in 2wd

Northridge4x4 Jeep Parts: Transfer Case

I thought about it but decided I'll wait till I do other drivetrain upgrades down the road.

Thats the one. I would have killed for this when backing my boat In and out of the water.

Anxious to get started on this! It was hard to not start tearing it out last night in the driveway lol. Getting my soft top replaced at lunch then I'll be starting on this later this afternoon.

Any tips from guys who have done this swap already? I've got stubby wrenches and flex handles so I should be able to get the bolts on top without too much trouble. Should I remove the cross member? I've heard yes and no on that...

I had to pull my aftermarket skid plate and left the cross member. Drain the oil first before you pull out the old transfer case. If your doing this on the driveway careful when you pull the transfer case out, having a second pair of strong hands would be good. Better if you have a transmission jack, motorcycle stand or similar that you can use.

Good Luck!
