Default rock-track transfer case

So I have an opportunity to purchase a rock-trac t-case for $750.00 smack-a-roos. It has 10,000 miles on it. Should I, or should I not, that is the question.

Yes I would use it. I wanted to go with an atlas, but have hears good things about the rock-trac, and considering its $750.00 bucks compared to $2300.00 brand new and even more for an atlas. Even though the atlas is like apples and oranges. But still I thought it sounded like a good price.

I think that is on the low end of what they go for on the forum... it seems closer to 900 most of the time they sell. Make sure it is for your tranny... the manual and autos are different!

That is the price they seem to go for on the forum. Check the forum vendors for a price as well. The last time I checked wykoff (sp?) was selling new ones for about the same price people where asking for their used Tcases.

If you fill out your profile info, people will know your setup and be able to better help you.

The manual and auto cases do have different part numbers, but the cases are the same and are interchangeable. I installed a Tcase from an 08 auto into my 07 6 sp.

I'm glad to hear that the cases will interchange between manual and auto, because this is from auto, and I have a 6 speed. So will everything I have for my 2:72 to 1 t-case be usable, or will I need to purchase stuff?

You can get a brand new one for about 900 bucks. I would say get a new one for that price.
