Most of all they are made in America by some great guys that really have a passion for Jeeping and are reasonably priced.

I have their classic sliders on my 2 door. I haven't wheeled with them yet, but they are WAY sturdier than the Smittybilts I had on before. I also like the fact that they bolt to the pinch seem. They do bolt to the body mounts as well.

I have the Rockhard sliders on my jku. Built in the USA solid, look similer to the JCR s They bolt to the frame as well as the pinch seam. So you don't see where it's bolted to the pinch seam. And can use as a step too. Sorry no pics on the I Pad. Good luck with your decision

I had a set of (I think) rock hard rails. The bolted up exactly like the stock running boards at the pinch seam and under the body. They are great for some tube style running boards. But the first time I actually used them on a rock the mounts broke. They are NOT rock sliders!!!

I now have LOD frame mount sliders and they are awesome!

Depends on what you do with your jeep and how u will use them.

Anything that mounts to the body in my opinion is not worth of any impact from below on rocks... You need a frame mount. Or at a minimum something that mounts at the body mounts like the ACE sliders as a more cost effective solution.

If you don't mind coming off the little bit extra to have someone do the welding for you if you don't want to weld yourself, EVO will probably work with you and build you a set of their sliders bent a bit to function as a side step. I didn't want to pay that kind of money for rockers but after playing with some and taking some good hits, EVO is my next move! Something to check out! Let us know what you decide on!

Although I would agree with your assertion that a frame mount is likely stronger, the JCR sliders are extremely solid. The fact that they mount to BOTH the pinch seem and to where the body mounts attach give it even more strength.

I have see ACE sliders flex so much that they damaged the pinch seam. I would never run these myself unless I had Rubicon Rails attached.

when I was looking for sliders I only considered frame mounted sliders. On my last vehicle I had my sliders welded and I will never do that again. It was a complete pain in the ass to repaint them.

Here are pictures of all the ones I was looking it.
