Default Rocker help

I have been searching but I think it will just be easier to ask what I am looking for and see if anyone can help. I would like to find some rocker guards similar to the rubi rails in that they go the whole lenght of the pinch seam yet dont attach to it. I may end up getting those but would like a little more in a rail that may stick out or so. I dont need a step just added protection and look. I also dont want anything that is mounted to the body. Thanks

I'm no help, just curious as to why you are opposed to mounting on the body? Pinch seam is an extremely strong area.

Not exactly sure. But they're strong! Here's another image to help out on where they connect to in regards to the chassis/frame...

I just took a look underneath my JK. It looks like they connect where the rubi rails connect to -- not the holes on the side of the jeep frame nor the chassis itself, but to the under body-frame.

How do they hold up to abuse?

they are basically as strong as a rubi rocker, which is very strong.

the only kind that follow the pinch seem but dont attach are the frame mounted rockers..

you wont find one that just attachs to the bottom of the tub, if you find one. Dont buy it, they wont be strong at all
