Rocker/Slider Mounting Integrity
If I were going to buy a set I would go with either Evo, VKS, LOD, or the weld on ones from Ace. Basically any of the frame mounted ones are gonna be a better option than the ones that use the body mounts.
What about the Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers? Any good?

watch out for the PS sliders. Because the Slider and the side armor are bolted together if you ever do come down on a rock and the sliders flex they transfer that flex into the side armor. The side armor uses Nut-Serts in the body so it flexes the body.
These are pictures of my Rig. When I asked PS about this I was told this was "Normal" and that I was "Abusing" the sliders by banging them on rocks.

It seems there is always the dilemma over what to choose, check the TJ forums and plenty of people have discussed frame vs body mount support for sliders, this is not a new topic, would i be doing king of the hammers ? no, but in the eventual case that i'll have to take my Jeep through it, (you never know), i'm sure my D30 diff will let go first before my body mount sliders fall off, sure frame mounted will be stronger, i would have gotten the white knuckle sliders, but i scored the ACE set at a good price, and their warranty is nice.
Again, i don't have much experience with the ACE ones and JK's, so my opinion could change in the future, haha, for sure, i prefer the ACE sliders over the factory Rubi rails for example because of the extra protection, and there is nothing to drill, nothing to weld, and in the event that i don't like them, i'll take them off, sell them on the side, and buy something else.

I have the ACE rock sliders, but i haven't have a chance to test them out yet, i just got them last week
My 3 little ones are using the sliders as steps, so i know for a fact they're more pleased than me in that regards
Took me literally 20 min to install them, and mainly because i had to clean the dust on my breaker bar, jaja, if you don't have one, you may need some muscles to get the body mount bolts out , a pry bar will make this job a breeze.
I'll know more about their durability in the following week or so, but they do have a lifetime warranty, so i'm not really worried about that, they look great, they seem fully functional with their design, and i'm sure they should get the job done.
